R9-351 is a hot-melt, fast-curing, flame-retardant epoxy resin system specifically engineered for the manufacture of high-performance composite components. This advanced, halogen-free formulation has been developed to deliver an excellent balance of mechanical performance, processing efficiency, and environmental responsibility, while meeting demanding safety requirements. The system is designed to satisfy the fire performance criteria of FAR 25.853, Appendix F, Parts I, IV, and V, making it particularly suitable for aerospace, transportation, and other applications where compliance with stringent fire, smoke, and toxicity regulations is essential. R9-351 is compatible with a variety of composite manufacturing processes, including autoclave, press, and vacuum-bag-only (VBO) curing, offering flexibility across different production environments. The resin is available on a range of lightweight surface plies as well as selected heavier-weight reinforcement fabrics, enabling the production of high-quality composite structures with excellent processing characteristics and consistent performance.
